Happy New Year to All! Hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season. We had a great time visiting both kids in California. It is so good for a Mom's heart to be able to give her kids a hug. Email is just not the same!!
So now it's time to "winter in". I know just about all of our country is in the heavy throws of winter. Oregon is certainly into the grey, grey days with lots of rain and a little snow here and there. It's the perfect time to "organize" and plan. I've spent the last few days cleaning and organizing my workshop, and guess what? I found some wood I forgot I had! Can you imagine that? The creative juices are flowing and I can hardly wait to get started on some of the new designs. How about you?
One of the fun things we did in California was to visit the Welburn Gourd Farm. (www.welburngourdfarm.com) What a treat! They were having a 70% off sale the day I was there! It's a good thing we had a small car! I've never seen so many gourds and so many different sizes and shapes. Now I'm all inspired to work on some new gourd designs! Keep watch for new patterns. Sigh! So much painting to do and so little time!
Happy Wintering to you!
